Just like that intercounty Gaelic Games are over for 2026.
Galway ladies footballers got their hands on the Brendan Martin Cup for the first time since 2004, beating Kerry in a dramatic finish at Croke Park. Cork wrestled back the O’Duffy Cup by beating Galway by a point in the Senior Camogie Final – and it’s about time for me to be back at club GAA matches and the League of Ireland pitches as their seasons start to come to a crescendo.
